Scale, with the book included

First we build the book. Then we scale your business.

We write and publish your book with you, and once the manuscript is in editing, the twelve-month Scale program starts putting you, and then the book, in front of the people who can hire you. Eighteen months from your first strategy session to the end of Scale.

$180,000 for both, against $200,000 bought one after the other.

Books don't pay. Clients do.

Launch week isn't the finish line, it's the starting line.

Publish and Scale bought separately comes to $200,000. Signed together it's $180,000, and Scale kicks off the day your manuscript enters editorial, so the book ships into a campaign that is already running.

Your brand and the book say the same thing

The authority audit runs while the manuscript is in editing, so the fixes land on your site, your LinkedIn, and your offer before the cover is final. Buyers who look you up ahead of launch already find the right story.

You are marketing the book before it exists

The hundred names, the packages, and the pitch engine get built while the book is in design. People hear about the book from you months ahead of launch, and some of them become clients before a single copy ships.

Launch day is the start of the campaign

The book goes out to a list that already knows it is coming, in packages built for the people who can hire you. The first client conversations start in the launch window, and the program keeps working the pipeline for the rest of the engagement.

What changes when Scale is in the room

Publish gets you the book. Scale gets you the business the book was for.

Publish on its own is the right call when the book is the goal. Scale is for the founder who needs the book to bring in clients, and wants that work started before the cover is designed.

How it works

The book and the business get built at the same time.

The book takes the first year. Scale joins at editorial and runs to the end. The months flex with your pace; the order does not.

Months 1 to 3

Strategy

Your Book Strategist shapes the argument and writes the Blueprint: the problem, your signature system, the market position, and a first table of contents. The Scale team takes its first look at how a dream client finds you today and where they would hesitate.

Months 4 to 6

Recording, and the manuscript

Two full days with a Book Director draw the book out of you. The first edited draft is back within two weeks of your final session, and the manuscript is built from what you said, in the way you said it.

Months 7 to 9

Editorial begins. Scale kicks off.

Editors who have built New York Times bestsellers work the manuscript until it reads like you on your best day. The same month, the Scale program starts: the authority audit is finished, the site, the LinkedIn profile, and the offer are repositioned and repriced, and your Scale Blueprint sets the twelve-month plan.

Months 10 to 12

Design, distribution, and the campaign built

Designers whose covers you already own design yours, the interior is typeset, and distribution is set up under the Author.Inc imprint. Alongside, the hundred names who can hire you are researched, the packages designed, and the pitch engine built in your voice.

Month 12

The book ships into a campaign

The launch plan for your first 1,000 copies runs, and the hundred packages go out with a one-page letter in your voice and a fifteen-minute ask. The first client conversations start here.

Months 13 to 18

Get clients, then scale what works

Warm network first, then the people who matter most. The pitch engine keeps outreach going so every reply becomes a call, media and podcasts are pitched in your voice, and whatever produced clients gets multiplied: the content engine, the keynote, and the systems you keep.

Meet your guide

Charlie Hoehn has spent fifteen years scaling author businesses.

Charlie is a four-time New York Times bestselling editor. He rebuilt Codie Sanchez's Main Street Millionaire from the ground up, worked with Noah Kagan on Million Dollar Weekend, helped Ramit Sethi's I Will Teach You to Be Rich to hit #1 Amazon most sold overall and become a New York Times bestseller, and guided Geoff Woods from first draft to $10 million in new business in a year. The books were the beginning. The speaking fees, the contracts, the memberships, and the clients were the result.

On Scale, he leads the weekly advisory call and meets you 1:1 at each milestone of the program: reading your outreach before it goes, pricing your offers, pressure-testing the next move, and telling you plainly when something will cost you a client.

Publish and the twelve-month Scale program, signed together. Payments are tied to milestones across the engagement; your invitation lays out the dates. Approved costs for books, boxes, and shipping are on top, and every one is approved by you first.

The Scale guarantee

If the engine has not put the number of qualified leads set in your invitation in front of you by the end of the program, our fees stop and we keep working with you until it has.

Built for

The founder with something bigger than a book to sell.

  • You run a business doing $2M to $10M or more a year
  • You have a proven offer at $25,000 and up
  • A client is worth $100,000 or more to you over time
  • You have the idea and the expertise, and no book yet
  • You want the campaign researched, built, and sent for you

If most of the list describes you, the numbers work and so does the fit. If the book already exists, Scale Marketing Only is the same program without the publishing.

Books don't pay. Clients do.

Run your own numbers.

Set what a client is worth to you over their lifetime, and how many the book should bring you this year. The math does the arguing.

Bring the idea. Leave knowing whether the book can carry the business.

You talk with Miles Rote, co-founder. We work out what the book has to do for the business, whether the client campaign fits, and what the first ninety days would look like. If it is the wrong fit, we say so on the call.

"I take every one of these calls myself. Bring the book wherever it is, and we'll work out the honest answer together."

Questions

The things people ask before they say yes.

How much of my time does this take?+

Two recording days for the book, then about two hours a week. While the manuscript is in progress that is the editorial room and approvals on the brand fixes. Once the campaign starts it is the weekly call, approvals on anything in your name, finishing the content drafts we hand you, and taking the conversations the campaign opens. Everything else is produced.

What if my team can't handle the last mile?+

That is our job. We build with you and send for you. If your team is thin, Scale is designed for exactly that.

Do I have to be on camera?+

You do not have to. The book-to-client campaign needs a book, a package, and a note. The content engine runs on your writing and your calls. Video is one to two a week when you want it, and zero when you don't.

I already have a manuscript, or a published book. Is this the wrong page?+

Yes, and there is a right one. Publishing Only takes a finished manuscript to the shelf for $40,000. Scale Marketing Only runs the twelve-month program for a book that already exists, whoever published it, for $140,000. This page is for the founder starting from the idea who wants the book and the clients in one engagement.

When does the Scale work actually start?+

Some of it early: the authority audit happens while the book is being planned, so nothing you send a reader to makes them hesitate. The program itself kicks off when the manuscript enters editorial, around the halfway mark, so your site, your LinkedIn, and your offer are fixed and the campaign is built by the time the book ships. From your first strategy session to the end of Scale is eighteen months, and the months flex with your pace.

What are approved costs?+

The physical things: books, boxes, shipping, and the production partner for video. Every cost is approved by you before it is spent. The campaign for 100 people typically runs $5,000 to $10,000 in materials.

What are the payment terms?+

Publish and Scale together are $180,000. Bought one after the other, Publish at $60,000 and Scale Marketing Only at $140,000 come to $200,000, so signing both up front saves $20,000. Payments are tied to milestones across the engagement, and your invitation lays out the exact dates. It is one engagement purchased in full; the payments are a plan, not a subscription you cancel.

What do I keep when it ends?+

The book is yours: copyright and royalties in your name, published under the Author.Inc imprint with our ISBN so you never manage a publisher account. The pitch engine, the playbooks, the media list, the content vault, and the campaign materials run on your logins and stay with you.

How does the guarantee work?+

The twelve-month program is the engagement. Your invitation sets the number of qualified leads the engine is built to put in front of you. If it has not hit that number by the end of the program, our fees stop and we keep working with you until it has. Closing is yours; the pipeline is ours.
