Questions

Before you book the call

What's included in the investment?+

The whole book: strategy, recording sessions with your Book Director, the manuscript in your voice, every round of editing, cover and interior design, publishing under the Author.Inc imprint, distribution, the launch campaign and six months of weekly advisory calls. You keep 100% of the royalties and the IP.

What happens if my book takes longer than eight months?+

We stay with you for up to six more months to get it finished. The schedule is built to keep you moving, because the authors who ship are the ones who stay on pace.

What happens after the book is out?+

Launch is where the book starts working for you. Around month four, as the manuscript enters editorial, we sit down for the marketing conversation: what the book should do for your business once it's out, and how. If you want us to run the marketing with you after launch, that's a separate conversation and a separate agreement.

Who owns the book?+

You do. Your manuscript, your rights, your royalties. Books publish under the Author.Inc imprint with ISBNs registered to Author.Inc, which is how we handle distribution on your behalf.

How does payment work?+

The investment is $38,000 paid in full, or $39,990 when paid in installments across the engagement. The schedule is in your agreement, and nothing is collected on this page.

What if I'm not sure which book to write?+

Start with the Book Blueprint, a $3,500 engagement over seven to ten business days that finds the strongest version of your book. The full fee is credited toward Publish within six months.

Who do I talk to?+

Miles Rote, co-founder. He has worked through the book question with more than 2,500 business leaders. Book a time below or write to miles@author.inc.
